How are players grouped during training?
Players are grouped according to ability in groups no bigger than 8 students and one staff coach. When the campers arrive at camp initially, they will be placed into groups consisting of other students their age. From there, the staff will evaluate the talent of each individual and adjust the groups according to ability.

What equipment do I need to bring to camp?
All campers will be required to bring the necessary equipment required to play in a real game: Stick, helmet, mouthpiece, shoulder pads, gloves, elbow pads, proper footwear (sneakers and cleat are both advised) and a cup is recommended.

How old do the campers need to be?
Rising Stars Lacrosse Camp is Generally for boys ages 8-18. With the continued growth of lacrosse in this area, we have expanded camp to as young as 6 years old with our 9am - 3pm.

Can I contact my son while he is at camp?
Throughout the duration of the camp, Rising Stars Lacrosse employs a camp administrator. The administrator will carry a cell phone and is on-site 24 hours a day. Please call 508-340-1421. Worcester State College has pay phones available so every student can call home for updates on how the week is going.

What discounts does the camp offer?
Discounts are available for returning campers, team, family and early registration. Please look at our discount page for more information

What do I need to bring to an overnight camp?
In addition to equipment, campers need to bring bedding, change of clothes for 5 days, extra socks, towels, toiletries, fan (optional) and spending money for snacks and camp store (meals are provided in the camp fee and ALL CASH CAN BE HELD AT THE CAMP STORE and unspent cash is returned at end of camp, this prevents campers from loosing money throughout the week).

What type of facilities does the camp offer?
The camp will be based out of Worcester State College; utilizing their dining facilities, lecture halls, air conditioned dormitories and newly rennovated Field Turf Stadium

Can my son request a roommate?
We will try to utilize all roommate requests. If a roommate is not selected we will assign a roommate who is around the same age.

What time do we arrive on Monday and pick up on Friday?
On June 28th campers will register from 8:00 am-9:00 am. The camp will begin shortly after 9:00 am. The last field session will take place from 8:30 am -11:30 am on July 2nd with showcase games of all divisions played in the stadium. All parents are encouraged to attend and see their son's progress!
